Bio: 
At an early age medicine attracted Dr. Clinton as a career that could help her attain both her personal and professional goals. She started her education at Trinity University in San Antonio where she volunteered widely in organizations that benefitted the elderly and individuals facing hardship. She served on the board of directors of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society and the Blue Key National Honor Society. She worked as a technician in a busy Houston emergency room and as a standardized patient for medical students while attaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors. A fulfilling experience of working with patients alongside physicians world-renowned in the field of rheumatology at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston inspired Dr. Clinton to pursue this career path. She returned to San Antonio to complete her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Clinton enjoys participating in endeavors that benefit her patients and her profession. She serves on the Legislative Committee and the Women in Medicine Committee of the Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS) as well as the Texas Medical Association Council on Practice Management Services. She has made several trips to Austin and Washington D.C. to discuss a number of healthcare issues with our local and state representatives.
